Your girls are at it again!
We had a wonderful time at this years' Women's Speech contest organised by Women's Federation For World Peace UK. First prize went to Sonia Mapo Caweewat. Congradulations!!
This years' theme was 'Youth Participation & Leadership: Peacemaking & Reconciliation'
2023 Meet & Greet
Hiroshima professor guest visit
Welcome freshers of 2023! We had a great time meeting all the new students at the University Of Greenwich.
As part of a joint decision, we coincided our official Meet & Greet with a guest speaker, Dr. Fuyuko Takita, from the University Of Hiroshima, Japan.
She gave us a talk about global mindset and VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity).
Youth World Peace Trip to Japan & South Korea
In the beginning of July we embarked on our very much anticipated Japan and South Korea pilgrimage! Ten of us participated, including a couple invited guests who we connected with from Greenwich University.
We had an absolutely incredible time filled with wonderful people, sites, spiritual journeys as well as challenges.

Happy Lunar New Year!!
2023 Year of the Rabbit!
We were so happy to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the year of the Rabbit at Greenwich University!
Like last time, we had a tea ceremony demonstration along with Japanese games. Of course we couldn't forget about the cultural food and amazing company.

Women's Federation For World Peace - Conference
Women's Federation For World Peace (WFFWP) attended a conference at the Houses of Parliament in Westminster.
Our Intercultural Peace Society was gracefully invited. One of our graduate students Ena, who you might remember won the 'Women's Speech Contest' a few years ago was one of the speakers at the conference.
2-Day Workshop
We organised a 2-day workshop to further study the Divine Principle and understand the principles of life and spirituality in our lives.
This workshop took place in the beautiful countryside in Seend.
Berlin Rally 2022
Berlin Peace Rally 2022
A big event bringing people of all walks of life to a peace walk rally in Berlin. It was a three-day event hosted by multiple charity and peace organisations on the topic of unifying North and South Korea.
Planting seeds and planting trees
Back at it again in Avery Hill Park! This time planting native wildflower seeds and planting trees!
Introduction to the Intercultural Peace Society
After welcoming the new students to Greenwich University, we held our annual introduction meeting. We talked about what we do, what we represent and ended the meeting with a world culture quiz.
We even had sushi!
Japan Museum Visit
Visited the exhibition / museum in central London about Japanese history and culture with some of our Intercultural Peace Society members. We then visited a Japanese restaurant.
Calligraphy Class at Greenwich University
Held a calligraphy learning class in the cafeteria of the Dreadnought building in the Greenwich University.
Japanese Cooking Class
We had a Japanese food and cooking class with a few of our student society members. いただきます!! (i-tada-kimasu!!)
Freshers Week Open Day
We had a great time meeting and greeting all the freshers to the University Of Greenwich. And a big Hello to all the new members who joined our society!
Intercultural Fashion Show
An intercultural fashion show was held in Greenwich University where participants dressed up in their cultural garments.
And guess what? We won first prize thanks to one of our Japanese members, Mieko-san!!

2-day Principles Of Peace Seminar
Before Christmas, we held a 2-day seminar with discussion on the topic of the Principles Of Peace teachings.
Avery Hill Park Service Project
Along with a few of our guests we spent two days helping volunteers clean up and tidy Avery Hill Park.
Tong-Il Moo-Do
The very centre of Tong-Il Moo-Do is the Unification Principle.
Tong-Il Moo-Do is the way of unified martial arts which, centring upon the Unification Principle, harmonize and systematize the circular movement (soft motion) as the subject and linear movement (hard motion) as the object, and gives meaning and value on the movements and techniques.

Ocean Challenge 2021
In the Summer of 2021 we took a private boat with a few of our guests for a fishing trip from the Gillingham Marina for a fishing trip.
